Alison Ables, founder of Los Angeles-based Melodyhead, is a classically trained pianist, muti-instrumentalist, and composer. For over a decade, she toured as a live musician and produced albums with several bands before settling down to focus on composition for picture. She provides music from any genre, but is best-known for her memorable symphonic and orchestral work as well as her dark electronic scores.
Melodyhead provides original compositions and scores, live orchestration, sound design, music supervision and research, and audio production for advertising, film, television, and interactive media. Alison has provided music for brands such as Chrysler, Old Spice, Levi’s, ESPN, Nike, Southern Comfort, Verizon, Dodge, and Sony.
